Due to the current Covid-19 Situation, the government is promoting self-sustaining farming. With this, I am tasked to create automated irrigation system that can be remotely controlled using cloud interface. The system is required to be efficient, cheap and of low maintenance. It would need to be able to deliver water to irrigate the plants when the moisture level in the soil is low.
Project rundown
For this project, i am making a watering system that will automatically water the plants when the soil moisture is low. It has 2 sensors, one to sense the moisture of the soil and another to sense the humidity and temperature around the area. The data recorded by the sensor will be displayed on an app called Blynk.
A remote controlled robot will be on site with a camera that can record a live stream to be displayed on the Blynk app. Users would be able to control the robot with the app to view the garden whenever they like without stepping foot into the garden.
